About the Dental Board
The Dental Board of New South Wales is a statutory authority
responsible for the registration of Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental
Therapists and Students in New South Wales. The Board also grants
specialist description to Dentists to restrict their practice to their
area of specialty. Before a person may practice as a dentist in New South
Wales, or hold themselves out to be a dentist, he or she must first
register with the Board.
